Arkeon Sandstone Warm GB11 takes after warm toned sandstone, with the fine even grain and gentle bedding lines of the quarried stone. The tone runs from sand to a soft honey.
Where Arkeon Sandstone Warm suits
Sandstone reads as a building material rather than a decorative one, which is why it is specified for walls, floors and cladding more often than for worktops. Warm GB11 suits entrances, stairwells, courtyard facing walls and garden rooms, and any interior that wants the feel of natural stone without the weight and porosity of the real thing.
Formats and finishes
This slab is stocked in 6mm and 12mm, both in a matt finish.
Slabs are 3240 x 1620mm in 12mm and 3200 x 1600mm in 6mm. The 12mm is supplied unrectified, so the usable working area in both is 3200 x 1600mm. Unlike the material it takes after, the porcelain is non-porous, so it is stain resistant and needs no sealing, and it is scratch and heat resistant in normal use. The 6mm is the cladding format and the usual choice on walls. The 12mm suits floors and horizontal surfaces.
