Arkeon Sandstone Light GB14 is a light neutral sandstone, sitting between the warm and the silver tones of the family. The grain is fine and the colour is close to a true neutral.
Where Arkeon Sandstone Light suits
Light GB14 is the easiest of the sandstones to specify, because it does not pull a scheme warm or cool. It suits large floor areas, full height wall runs, hallways and open plan spaces, and contract work where one stone has to sit alongside finishes chosen by other people. It is also forgiving in use, since a light neutral grain hides marks better than either a white or a dark surface.
Formats and finishes
This slab is stocked in 6mm and 12mm, both in a matt finish.
Slabs are 3240 x 1620mm in 12mm and 3200 x 1600mm in 6mm. The 12mm is supplied unrectified, so the usable working area in both is 3200 x 1600mm. Unlike the material it takes after, the porcelain is non-porous, so it is stain resistant and needs no sealing, and it is scratch and heat resistant in normal use. The 6mm suits wall and furniture cladding, the 12mm floors and worktops.
