Arkeon Plaster Ash GB25

Arkeon Plaster Ash GB25 is the muted, softly darkened tone in the Arkeon plaster family. It takes after hand applied lime plaster, carrying the gentle tonal drift and faint trowel movement of a finished wall rather than the flatness of paint, in a deeper register than Snow, Bone or Sand.

Where Arkeon Plaster Ash suits

Plaster effects are specified where a scheme wants quiet texture rather than pattern, and Ash is the one used when a surface needs a little more presence. It suits media and feature walls, bedroom and bathroom schemes built on layered neutrals, hospitality interiors, and joinery and furniture cladding where a painted finish would look thin. It gives a wall the depth of plaster without the cracking, staining and resealing that real plaster brings with it.

Formats and finishes

This slab is stocked in 6mm and 12mm, both in a matt finish.

Slabs are 3240 x 1620mm in 12mm and 3200 x 1600mm in 6mm. The 12mm is supplied unrectified, so the usable working area in both is 3200 x 1600mm. Being porcelain, it is stain, scratch and heat resistant and needs no sealing, which is the practical reason it gets specified in place of the natural material. The 6mm is the format most used here, because plaster effects are usually a wall material and the weight saving matters across a tall run. The 12mm covers vanity tops and horizontal surfaces.

A sample tells you less than the slab does, because the surface only reads properly at full size. Arkeon Plaster Ash GB25 can be viewed at our London or Manchester warehouse by appointment.
