Infinity Surfaces Travertine Porcelain: Bianco, Chiaro & Grey for Worktops, Walls and Flooring
Travertine has long been a symbol of elegance, valued for its gentle textures and earthy tones. Infinity Porcelain Surfaces Travertine : Bianco, Chiaro & Grey for Worktops, Walls and Flooring, has brought this classic stone into the modern age, combining authentic visual appeal with the advanced performance of Infinity porcelain.
A Collection Rooted in Natural Beauty
The Infinity Surfaces Travertine range includes three striking tones: Travertine Bianco, Travertine Chiaro, and Travertine Grey. Each finish is crafted with a refined matte surface that mimics the organic variation and softness of real travertine stone, providing Infinity Surfaces Travertine: A Natural Aesthetic in Porcelain Perfection.
In addition to their visual beauty, Infinity porcelain slabs provide excellent functionality. With multiple thicknesses available, including 6mm and 12mm across the range, and 20mm for Travertine Chiaro, these slabs are suited to a wide variety of uses, from walls to porcelain flooring and external cladding.
Travertine Bianco: Light and Versatile
Travertine Bianco offers a calm, creamy tone that brightens any interior. Its subtle pattern and light colouring make it ideal for minimalist designs and open-plan spaces. This finish is especially popular for bathrooms, splashbacks, and large-format travertine porcelain flooring, contributing to Infinity Surfaces Travertine: A Natural Aesthetic in Porcelain Perfection.
Availability in both 6mm and 12mm formats, Bianco can be used for everything from seamless walls to elegant travertine worktops.

Travertine Chiaro: Classic Warmth Meets Modern Performance
Travertine Chiaro is the warmest and most traditional in the collection. With its sandy beige tones, it offers a natural look that suits both rustic and modern interiors. Thanks to the availability of a durable 20mm thickness, Chiaro is perfect for external applications, heavy-duty flooring, and even high-traffic commercial spaces, showcasing Infinity Surfaces Travertine: A Natural Aesthetic in Porcelain Perfection.
Furthermore, its natural tones bring warmth to any setting, making it a favourite for homeowners and designers alike.

Travertine Grey: Cool, Contemporary, and Understated
Meanwhile, Travertine Grey provides a cooler, more modern feel. With its soft grey veining and gentle texture, it complements monochromatic interiors, industrial design schemes, and urban-inspired spaces. Offered in 6mm and 12mm formats, it’s ideal for wall cladding, porcelain floors, and elegant worktops.
The understated charm of Travertine Grey makes it especially suited to modern homes and stylish commercial interiors. Infinity Surfaces Travertine: A Natural Aesthetic in Porcelain Perfection is truly embodied by Travertine Grey’s elegant design.

Travertine Trilogy SE14, the newest addition

Travertine Trilogy SE14 is the most recent travertine in the range. It reads as a white travertine with softer, more even banding than Bianco, and it is one of only two travertines produced in 20mm, where it is made with Vein Tech.
It is the one to look at if you want the travertine character on a worktop or a table top rather than on a wall or a floor.
Slab sizes, thicknesses and finishes
Every travertine in the Infinity range is matte. That is deliberate, because a polished travertine reads as something else, and matte is also the sensible choice underfoot.
- 6mm at 3200 x 1600mm, rectified, so the full sheet is the working area. All four colours
- 12mm at 3240 x 1620mm unrectified, with a working area of 3200 x 1600mm. All four colours
- 20mm at 3240 x 1590mm unrectified, with a working area of about 3200 x 1570mm. Travertine Chiaro and Travertine Trilogy only
The 6mm sheets suit walls, cladding and floors. The 12mm and 20mm are the worktop and table thicknesses. The same sizing runs across the rest of the Infinity porcelain slab range.

Travertine porcelain or natural travertine
Natural travertine is a sedimentary limestone, and its character comes from the voids that form as it is laid down. Those voids are usually filled and honed before it is sold, and over time in a wet or busy area the filler can work loose.
It is also porous and acid sensitive, so it wants sealing, and it marks where it meets citrus, wine or the wrong cleaner.
Travertine effect porcelain carries the look without any of that. No voids to fill, no sealing, and a surface that is heat, scratch, stain and frost resistant. The trade off is the same one as any porcelain: the pattern repeats across a run of slabs rather than being unique to each piece, which is why it is worth coming to see full slabs rather than specifying from a sample.
Where travertine porcelain is used
- Floors, inside and running out to a terrace, where frost resistance matters
- Bathroom walls, wet rooms and shower surrounds
- Kitchen worktops and islands in 12mm or 20mm
- Fire surrounds and feature walls
- Dining and coffee table tops in 20mm
Travertine porcelain FAQs
What is travertine effect porcelain?
It is a large format porcelain slab printed and fired to read as natural travertine, with the same soft banding and warm tone. Unlike the real stone it has no open pores or voids to fill, so it does not need sealing and will not stain or etch.
What travertine colours does Infinity make?
Four. Travertine Bianco SE13 in white, Travertine Chiaro SE09 in beige, Travertine Grey SE06 in grey, and Travertine Trilogy SE14, the newest addition, in white.
What thicknesses does travertine porcelain come in?
All four are made in 6mm and 12mm. Travertine Chiaro and Travertine Trilogy are also made in 20mm, which is the usual choice for worktops and tables. Every travertine in the range is matte.
Can travertine porcelain be used outside?
Yes. Porcelain is frost and UV resistant, so a travertine effect can run from an interior floor out to a terrace without the sealing and maintenance that natural travertine needs outdoors.
Where can I see travertine porcelain slabs in the UK?
Clay International hold full slabs at the London and Manchester warehouses. Viewing is by appointment, so you can see the banding across a full 3.2 metre sheet before you specify.
